YOUNG DIPLOMATS - AGES 6 - 8, INTERMEDIATE / ADVANCED OR BILINGUAL

INTERMEDIATE / ADVANCED CLASSES: NEW!!! THEATER I: Designed to nurture and stimulate creativity in young children in the target language. Students will enter a world of original stories, fairy tales and songs. They will learn to act out these stories through the use of puppets and short skits. Children will begin to express themselves in the target language with guidance from the instructor.

BILINGUAL CLASSES: These classes are generally 2-hours long. The goal of the class is to help children with preliminary exposure to Mandarin, Spanish or French (e.g. children raised in a family in which the language is spoken) to significantly develop  their ability to speak read and write the language. Classes are age appropriate and  built around a wide variety of activities such as singing, playing learning games, movement, storytelling, and arts and crafts. Literacy activities are introduced.

NOTE: the Mandarin class on Saturday in Newport (10am-12pm) also accepts Junior Jetsetters.
